Paul372
i was getting a clonking noise from the front of my 98 peugeot partner van 1.9D when i turned the steering wheel, so i investigated and found that the front coil spring had snaped, while i had it jacked up i throught i would treat it to a new set of front brake pads but i ve still got to get a new set of front coil springs, does anyone know where i can get these at the cheapest price possible please i dont want to spend alot of money on the van thanks
Paul372
the best price i ve got so far is £30 + vat each from sc motor factors
merckx
They're only slightly cheaper on ebay, £30 + vat appears to be quite reasonable. I would only replace the one that's broken on a van, not both.

Missile
Breakers yard might have a pair?
JustGav
Breakers yard might have a pair? For £30, I personally wouldn't stick a set of 'unknown' history ones on.

merckx
Wouldnt it be wise to change both. Wont the new one be stiffer? You won't notice any difference. On a higher performance vehicle I would probably replace both.
