Pug 205 GTi Wheel arch trim...

I've asked this on a couple of Pug forums but no one ever gets back to me (which is nice of them :()

I have a 205 CJ (1.4 with softop) and I'd like to give it the GTi / CTi look by adding the extended plastic wheel arch trim from the GTi.

Does anyone know if it will be straight forward? I'm guessing at the moment that the CJ and the GTi have the same size wheel arches.

Cheers :)

Hi mate,

I have a CTi that I have nearly got back on the road after someone crashed into me.

I think the wings etc are all the same so the arches should fit no problem. You will just have to drill the holes in the wings to fit them.

I think a lot of people do this. Not sure but think you might need to get a Gti front bumper also as the front arches fit into this.

I think I have a set of arches lying around, however i think they are painted and possibly a bit tatty. Think I also have a gti front valance too.

Hope this helps

Cheers Gary, thats good news. I thought I'd probably need to change the front valance too. But am planning on doing it all anyway, give the CJ a bit of a meaner look :)

I'd be happy to take the arches off you :)

System up with the top down? :D

No probs mate, they are at my dads workshop so it will be the weekend before I get to them. Planning on doing the timing belt on the supra so i will look them out and see what they are like, as i said before i think they are slightly tatty and they are painted as the person who had them before colour coded them to the car.

If they are in ok nick my dad actually does car paint repairs so I could get them painted to the colour of your car or put back to black if this helps.:)

Cheers

Gary
