Chris Wilson
http://www.autofiends.com/index.php/2009/01/reynard-inverter-street-legal-hoon-machine/ Will make Radical owners a bit miffed if it does all they claim

Pete
Any idea on price? I'm only interested if I can swap my Tiger for one.
colsoop
Probably similar money to its rival the radical; around £40k i expect.
SteveR
Does the Zeus make use of any ground effect, Chris? Similar general shape. Can you make a Zeus road legal?
Chris Wilson
The Zeus is mainly flat bottomed, with front NACA duct venturis and a big rear diffuser, so semi ground effect. it doesn't have tunnels though, which is how I would desribe a full ground effects car. The Zeus project was bought by Jonathan Palmer (ex F1 driver, now circuit owner. It was modified to be the V6 Jaguar powered JP1, but was much heavier. they have done a few road registered ones. I think one's still for sale on one the race car web sites. My red car's sister car is for sale on Pistonheads right now.

Is that the one featured in a video doing a very, very fast lap of the combined GP + North loop at the Nurburgring? With a map showing it's position on the track down on one side too IIRC? I love that video, have it in full size glory on the PC here I think.

SteveR
Don't know Steve, not seen that, post a clip / link and I'll let you know ok I'll go find it - it's probably not the same one as I think you posted a link to it on YouTube it recently-ish. I'm probably mixing-up cars I wish I could have a play in.
SteveR
Nope, completely different car! I'm getting old. ivXyH4WnWcc I have a 150MB high-quality wmv file of that video, full title "raeder-v8-star-jaguar-dirk-adorf" - means little to me but I love it.
