Tourniquet
I've always wanted a set of these but they have always been expensive for Supra's ! I'd prefer them in chrome or some sort of shinyness. I had them on my old Bat Mobile before I got a propper car ! I'm at the muvva's atm but will post up a pic when I get home. They all seem the same. Kranz
If you want them in shinyness then there's a stainless steel range
heckler
Right... finally some pics. http://www.internetwork.org.uk/random/strut1.jpg http://www.internetwork.org.uk/random/strut2.jpg http://www.internetwork.org.uk/random/strut3.jpg all nice and easy, you will need to relase some of the pressure. when you do it be carefull not to release too much as they cannot be recharged
Kranz
Did you have to modify anything Si?
heckler
Did you have to modify anything Si? all i had to do was make the holes large in the brackets - thats it
dani_r
So they just fit into points already present on the car? I'm not too keen on drilling holes in the body work! How long did it take to fit?
heckler
So they just fit into points already present on the car? I'm not too keen on drilling holes in the body work! How long did it take to fit? you mount the brackets on the forward bonnet hinge point, with tha ball part of the bracket pointing out - although there are two holes on the bracket, one is sufficient to mount as the ball part in the correct possition for the strurt took me about 15 mins to fit

That's good news. So....group buy anyone?

dandan
full pressure i couldnt close the bonnet!, had to release a fair bit before i was happy Was it easy to get both side an even pressure?
heckler
Was it easy to get both side an even pressure? yeah, small amounts out of each one at a time, then just start to close the bonnet until the struts start to compress at the same time - keep releasing pressure till it closes
SteveR
Excellent. I'd like some of these - is a group buy on the cards?
