Are you a cowboy from Alabama, Rob? Are you? ARE YOU? In my mind it started off with a bizarre Leeds accent, moved quickly through Wakefield (lest it get stolen or murdered) and ended up deep in the West Country

CardiffSupra
I watched Watchmen with the misses the day it come out, I thought it was perfect. Don't expect to see non stop super heros fighting bad guys or villans. Iv orderd the Novel from boarders today because the film was that well made I think for a guys film it is perfect, Not over the top, great story line and unpredictable endings all the way. 10/10 for me 0/10 from the misses. As said Rorchach is fantastic, I love the "Just remeber, Im not locked in here with you, Your locked in here with me!" part

RedM
Aww, Martin's got a hobby. OMG! I never thought of it like that. Seriously though, I used to spend a fortune on them in the 80s and 90s. These days I have to be more selective due to lack of money.

The only reason for going to see that is because you are accompanying a female. If that is so then well done. If not then you want shooting. AndrewOW
hah hah, the first 1. Ooh, tell me more... But if you were just in the cinema with just your flasher mac on again, then that doesn't really count as a 'date'.

SupraStar 3000
After looking at me, I think she'll have had enough of dicks for one evening. If not, I have a cunning plan
lexsum
Watchmen was good but the ending made no sense. They should have kept the original ending. Also Nixon did not need the rubber face, we could imagine an actor as Nixon. Only other criticism was the too loud music. 8/10.

lexsum
yes - the mix was too loud at the songs/music during the film (not the titles or credits, that is acceptable.)
RedM
The songs (well the lyrics) were an important feature in the book. Hence the seemingly too loud mix. It was too highlight the lyrics.

ellis
Saw it last night with friends . . . . . . probably should have read the novels first . . . . . the ladies present had made their minds up in about 3 minutes!!! I might need to see it again just to be sure - seemed disjointed, very good in parts, strange in parts, dull in parts - almost as though 5 people had sat in different rooms and written parts for it, got together half an hour before the pitch, put it together, though "Fcuk, none of this fits! Oh arse to it, too late to change it now, lets just pitch it!".
