tbourner
After a bloke at work started a top 100 cars list, I thought I'd have a go, it's a hell of a lot harder than it looks!!!! He warned me but I've tried anyway, started a few days ago and I'm only up to 34!!! I've run out of cars now!!! Has anyone else tried this? You should have a go. My rules to myself were: Imagine someone was going to give me this car, and I was not to worry about insurance, and most importantly that the cost is irrelevant - I'm not allowed to sell the car so you can't use the price tag to weigh it up! Spec becomes a problem but you just have to not be silly about it, the guy at work said he would've had his top 30 all Lambo Diablos if he'd bothered about spec!!! A couple of mine are oldies where I've chosen a year and would stipulate a good condition example!! But otherwise it's a basic car with maybe a trim level. michael
I could do it but even I'm not that bored Most would be added to the list to complete a collection of marques or a particular theme - lots of Ferraris for example or one of each Group B rally car for fun. I might be bored later, I'll start looking at a list, I suspect there are more than 100 cars I'd like though
J4CK50N
Phew 100 is a lot of cars. I'm sure I could do it but would take forever. There would be a few cars that would maybe raise a few eyebrows however as my list would be cars I like and may actually be steaming bags of crap!!! Aerotop Dave
Top 10 or Top 20 would have been better - Top 100 will take too long! (and who's gonna want to read through everyone else's?! Top 10 would have much easier to write and more interesting to read!) I'll kick off with a Top 10 here if anyone wants to do theirs. In no particular order... 1) Supra - exact spec I have now, but single (well, you gotta keep the old girl, haven't you) 2) Lancia Stratos - with the original Ferrari V6 engine and a decently trimmed interior (since most of the ones I've seen (both original and kits) look terrible inside). 3) Big Merc estate car - practical, not fussed which. 4) Ferrari F355 - the best looking modern Ferrari 5) Lambo Muira - stunning looks 6) De Tomaso Pantera - looks again 7) Mazda RX 7 - heavily modified please (Jurgen's recent find would do!) 8) Aston Martin DB9 - to trounce the peasants in 9) Toyota Rav4 5 door - for the 4x4 and the utter, utter reliability 10) Escort RS2000 Mk II - for the sheer old skool fun of it. That should do it.
tbourner
Well my top 10 is: 01. McLaren F1. 02. Ford GT40. 03. Lamborghini Diablo VT. 04. Aston Martin V8 Vantage Le Mans. 05. Saleen S7. 06. Koenigsegg CCR. 07. Bugatti Veyron. 08. Pagani Veyron. 09. Pagani Zonda S. 10. Noble M12 GTO-3R. That's so far, will probably add more in the middle at some point. Stu_Fraser
Top 100 is difficult, id be well pushed to think of 30, but the top 10 would be something like this (in no particular order) 1) Aston Martin DB9 2) Ferrari 355 3) Lambo Murcielago 4) Ferrari F50 5) Aston Martin Vanguish 6) Noble M12 GTO 7) Koenigsegg CCR 8) Honda NSX R 9) Pagani Zonda 10) Mclaren F1 The Sup would be in the top 30 somewhere, also with a R34 GTR Skyline and an RX7 thrown in there somewhere for good measure
