Sounds like when you were looking at/working on cigarette lighter you probably didnt notice grounding one of the +ve wires which would blow the fuse. Just need to be a little careful when working on the car! For info, the cigarette lighter is NOT powered with the ignition off........did you have the ignition on when working at near it???? Rgds George yeah like an idiot, wired it up with ignition off then turned igniton on and clock went off so did heaters and cig lighter didnt work no more new id forgot to ground it argh!!
