SupraTRD83 Posted March 5, 2009 Share Posted March 5, 2009 Just purchased some footwell lights for the supra and need them wiring together witht the back of the fag lighter and installing a switch in the dash. Trouble is my head is so damn big I cant get it under the footwell to find the wires to the fag lighter. would it be an easier job if i removed the dash? as i need to do that to install the new Head Unit *finely* or will the fag lighter still be in place after removing the dash? my mate said he plugged his straight into the fag lighter from the front? how??? he said it came with a fag lighter to just plug in, so now im confuzzled Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

SupraTRD83 Posted March 5, 2009 Author Share Posted March 5, 2009 I think some Supra's come with stock interior footwell lights which would make the job a bit easier but only option I have is to etiher wire them into the rear of the lighter (which seems difficult especially if i take it out) or i can wire them into my interior roof lights (but there isnt enough wire to do this and if i get extra wire then there will be wire all over the place). annoying!!!! To be honest though, you don't sound competent (no offence meant, you even said that you are already confused) so just take it to someone who knows what they are doing.
