AndrewOW
and doing it so casually too! There's me thinking that my friend's wife using a scouring pad to remove bird sh*t from her car was a little extreme, this is just nuts!

Mrs H
How could you miss it? The fact that she was spraying the inside of the car distracted me, otherwise I would have flagged it too At least it wasn't velour jogging pants with some obscure word printed or stitched across the arse Vicki x
pedrosixfour
I think there was a model of citroen that was recalled due to spontaneous combustion a few years ago, perhaps she just couldn't be without the car that week.
Marc
my next door neighbour tried to remove bird shit from his bonnet, with a scourer pad and said "i've got the shit off". Soop Dogg
I know of someone off here that cleaned tar spots off his SUPRA with a scouring pad.....and then asked if I thought T-Cut would sort it out. Can't say who that was though...

Chris Wilson
I can't even remember how many cars I have steamed the door trims, seats and God knows what off on. Given a couple of hot summer days to dry out, and a quick go over to take the detergent stains off the trim panels, it works great What's the problem? I turned a 75 quid auction Fiat Cinquecento into a 300 quid first car for someone in 20 minutes with the steam cleaner, and 2 days in the sun with the doors open
erol_h
steam cleaner is one thing but a bloody jetwash, i was at a petrol station yesterday and i was watching some guy jet washing his car then went and jet washed his mats still in th car and them his seats.
