Cerikbok Posted March 3, 2009 Share Posted March 3, 2009 So I have been meaning to take the missus on a romantic weekend since we never really got to have a honeymoon due to work and what not, but rather than "research" everywhere and possibly make a big mistake I would like the opinions of those who live here! Yes, a nice hotel is a must I can't suggest anything specific because I don't know the area, but you might struggle to find somewhere nice for that money, unless you can book it on a special deal such as the De Veers £10 a night. If you want somewhere romantic, go for the old-world charm of a less-than-luxurious hotel and steer clear of the plush hotel chains (they'll blow the budget). Just a suggestion. They're staying there for a long weekend (with friends). So just find a nice hotel and your mission is achieved. Apparently there are some nice views and ermm stuff...
