Justin
For those that have done it.......is it just the bottom two bumpers that you replace or the top ones too? Getting a bit sick of driving around in a super car that sounds like a mini van
Paul
Justin, I only replaced the bottom two, the ones on the body not the hatch. This cured it, I think the hatch ones are plastic anyway, mine looked fine so I didn't replace. Paul

MONKEYmark
would not thought you would need new ones on a 98 car mine have made a noise a couple of times, its annoyin it went away in end, could you not lube them up with some KY JELLY or what ever you call it
Supra_Al
A small adhesive 'sticky' pad WILL stop this rattle instantly.Cut to shape and fitted to the tailgate stops. This has been my temp repair for 6 months now! Al.

Steve W
TEMPORARY easing = any "Cockpit Shine".... (ie. any silicon 'lube') sprayed mine ~ month ago, hasn't squeeked once since though it must have washed off nearly... definitely NOT the long-term solution. I WILL get round to replacing them........ eventually:p
