I had a she-ra book which I absolutely adored and read to my 6month old brother before he went to bed (I was about 5) every night. No wonder he's a freak. My most favourite book ever though was called The Adventures of Snugglepot and Cuddlepie. Very strange story with very scary 'baddies' (why does that always happen in kids books). I'm interested to know if you remember the first book you read which you really loved (obviously Peter and Jane can be excluded from this). A description or link to it would be good too. I also remember getting Doctor Who 'The Sontaran Experiment' very early on. I can also remember my dad reading The Hobbit to me as well. I won, she accused me of skim reading etc., it ended in tears edit: also 'The Two Village Dinosaurs'... which, while seemed to have a fairly attractive plot (being that I was *very* into Dinosaurs at the time) actually turned out to be nothing more than a flimsy, third rate bit of old dirge....
