supradriver Posted March 2, 2009 Share Posted March 2, 2009 yes, I just noticed this afternoon that the gauge reads in vacuum! so it starts at 20/25 at idle, and when I’m driving it goes down to 0~5 I presume this is normal! I’m new to all this turbo things, I have my 1 st supe for about one week, fully decated, greedy fcd, uprated fuel pump, and manual boost controller ! On the dash I have a small boost pressure indicator and reads 20~30 inHg in idle speed, as son I hit the pedal the boost go to 0~5 inHg! Is that normal? Thanks… Ignore the 'jokers'. It would make more sense if you distinguished correctly between +ve and -ve values, but if I interpret what you say correctly then yes, it's normal.
