so if i told them i had alloy wheels and a body kit etc then they would only pay out for stanard wheels, would i then have to buy crappy standard wheels instead of refurb mine or will they just say i have to pay for the refurb myself , but this wont void the policy as i have told them. am i right ? sorry bout this im confusing myself lol

lol knew tht one was coming.. basically if i tell them i have alloys etc and they say its fine , IFFFF i crash , they will only pay out for standard parts and not my modded bits . but at the same time this would not void my policy as i have told them yes?

hope thats better

say that again lol:search:

I had to read it a few times aswell. lol

You're thinking that if you had your wheels stolen that the insurance company would only pay for secondhand stock alloys?

Surely they would pay out the money for new stock alloys and you should be able to use this money to buy the wheels that you prefer?

I have just switched my insurance to them, due to the fact i had to get a 2nd car for work so they do a multicar policy and also mirrord the no claims i have.

seat cordova 1.6 £177 a yr

Supra £470 with mods declared...well chuffed, but as said wont replace mods only put back to standard. (like to see them try with my car :D)

and the supras insurance doesnt even start till june so it is a price promise on next years insurance but i have to take supra across for multi car policy price.

:D Nice one. As said above though they would pay for new parts... Hellish expensive at MrT. You'd get what you want at less pounds. :)

price up stock alloys at MR T i dont think they are cheap , when i put my TTE s on i informed them but they didnt seem that bothered , i think its power issues that concern them more than cosmetic, £250 full comp was my renewal last month, but that is very limited mileage and im ancient :)
