Guest Usmann A
Hi all, I am missing the following file from windows XP pro edition. "D:/setup.exe" It says that it cannot be found, meaning I cant upload anything for my "D" drive and install it? I know its a long shot, but just thought anyone might be able to help? BTW, I tried the microsoft download centre, and not to my amazement it isnt listed, I know because its a Windows file, but anyone out there???????? GeordieSteve
Sorry I'm lost mate. Why would you want a setup.exe on the root of C? What are you trying to do?

GeordieSteve
Ok... can you tell me what your doing? lol Are you trying to reinstall windows?
Guest Usmann A
no, im just putting in a cd, and it never runs automatically, so I go into My comp and try and access it, but it comes with the message"Could Not find d:/setup.exe" file, etc, etc. It then gives a option to browse my system manually for it?
