Have a 500+ boxed with over 100 games, in full working order. Make me an offer...............

I think that is probably over the top for what I am after. It sounds like you have a bit of a minter, it would be sacrilege!

Got couple of 500's in the loft if you want one of them for free.

Can either pick up or pay P&P, up to you :)

Can I ask why you're after one?

Regards,

Jim

Jim, Thats a dashingly good offer, Ill take you up on that. Im going to be popping a PC into it. RETRO FTW :D

Where are you from? Im Colchester way.

why dont you just use an emulator for your pc?

I was after an atari ST a few months back but decided to emulate one and I have downloaded tons of games for it, all legally from dozens of fan sites around the net. :)

As above, its not for playing Amiga games, I have a rig here with winAUE on :)

So not far for you to go.

I had an idea of doing a Nintendo Nes PC (still to do  ) so like the idea of the Amiga.

I'll PM you my mobile number, give me a call tomorrow on meeting up ect..

Regards,

Jim

you will still have them when your 90 :p

Most would have said the same about a spectrum when it was only 20 years old but i have one from the 70's in perfect working order, boxed etc. They go for a pretty penny considering it only cost me £20 10 years ago lol.

They aren't worth much unless boxed with all original accessories, which over half of mine are :D

how much do mint ones go for these days then? I've got an Amiga 500,zx spectrum, commodore 64 and an Atari 400 in the loft in original boxes :)

No idea mate, keep a hold of them though. They will be worth something to someone one day. Especially the older ones :)

I bought a USB Competition Pro joystick the other week from play.com and that came with a disk with a load of Amiga games, loads of crap ones though but the joystick feels exactly like the original ones did, I'd forgotten how good these things were!!
