j80leo
Is it suede or floc? It is the Alcantara material ( suede ) It's a bugger to do and took me 3 attempts to do but i am very please with the end result.

JamesF
Oh my god its gone mouldy while you replaced the heater matrix!!!! Only jesting, looks good mate. I had a flocked Audi TT dash in my Golf and it was the bollocks. Hope you did the heater matrix while it was out. you could finish it off with a tasty suede-ish steering wheel. marcAB10
looking good, was it really that easy to take off/replace the whole dash as i'll be needing to do this when i get my dash retrimmed but i'm a little worried as i'm far from experienced at this sort of thing. j80leo
looking good, was it really that easy to take off/replace the whole dash as i'll be needing to do this when i get my dash retrimmed but i'm a little worried as i'm far from experienced at this sort of thing. Well put it this way i have never taken a dash off before on any car and this was a big thing for me but the guide was brilliant, not everything is covered but almost everthing is. When i got down to removing thedash from the car the alarm was hard wired into the dash and there was a few other wires there to, so i used a bit of masking tape and just simply put a piece on each bit of the wire and numbered them e.g. 1 with 1 and 2 with 2and so on. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=127044 Just have a go yourself you never now until you try as long as your not rushed to do the job and time is not an issue just try hope this helps fella. Tricky-Ricky
Very nice job:cool: did you use the material that you can get from Ebay? i did get some of that to do my dash panels in but due to an attack of laziness i only did one panel, must get motivated again. bodilx6
NICE! thought of that myself, but dismissed it since I'm guessing its gonna cost like a single upgrade to get done... You didn't document the process, did you? It would be a great guide with some pics and "do's and don'ts"...
