JamieP
If i cant get 888's then i need to find something, do Dunlop do a trackday tyre? Kumho list one in the correct size. http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m12b0s671p9706
j_jza80
Pretty certain I saw a used set of these in Jurgens workshop last time I was up there, he might be able to tell you. From what i've read, they're not supposed to be quite as good as the R888s. These are the Dunlop track tyres: http://www.stuckey.com.au/news_200405-04.aspx Camskill sell them, not sure how good they are or what sizes they come in though. Al Massey
I've used Kumho a few times and think there a pretty good for rear tyres
dandan
I've used A048R on other cars but not on the Supra yet. Very sticky once scrubbed in, they make some very interesting noise on smooth roads. I thought they were great tyres. How much are they? Marty
I'm also looking for a decent 'dry' weather tyre for when i put my new turbo on and up the boost. R888's seem the best at the moment but am open to other recommendations. Anyone know if a 295/30/19 will fit ok on my 10"wide rim? I'm thinking they may be a tad big. They don't do anything in between a 265 and a 295 in 19's which is a shame. Edited February 26, 2009 by Marty (see edit history)
Scooter
I know Terry S's / Nick Karkie's big single had Kumhos on back in the day....
bignum
I use the dunlop d01j but i think its been phased out, very good tyre with decent wear.
Ian W
Really good tyres as far as i'm aware mate, they'll be gone in no time though (even quicker than the 888's afaik)

Nick
They make a hell of a whine on the road, and I didn't think there was a huge increase in grip over the Bridgestone RE01R's. To be fair though the Bridgestone is an outstanding road tyre. They were nice and progressive on the limit though, a LOT more feel. Can't comment on the wear as these are the first set of S-Tyres I've used. Taken some abuse and still some tread left so not complaining.
