Tannhauser
The person who put this on youtube titled it "Lennox Lewis had an iron chin". He's not kidding. Lewis may not have had the best defence in boxing, but I'd forgotten just how durable he was. There are some punches on the clip that look like they would knock over a shire horse. Lewis just seems to shrug them off. And he's a decent chess player, too. u4SQmxIP5Bk
Bobbeh
Superb chin, Vitali Klitchko has a bloody good one too, you see that uppercut he hook from Lewis in that fight?! Insane.
imi
Lewis may not have had the best defence in boxing Now that is an understatement....

IDO
A lot of people forget his fight against tyson.. anyone who can take a few of those shots gets respect.. and thats young tyson near his prime.... not "danny williams" tyson a few years back.. Tannhauser
What, putting his face in the way of the punches? Seemed to work 41/44 times. Maybe if you can take shots like that, you don't feel obliged to work on defence so much.

Lewis didn't fight Tyson's prime, but you're right, its not the same one who fought Williams!
Ian C
Crikey. I like the way he just steps back, shrugs his shoulders a bit to loosen back up, and stands there as if to say "try that again and put some effort in this time ffs". That must be quite demoralising to the opponent
Havard
Awesome chin.....

Scott
That video is unbelievable. Putting those clips together like that really does show how solid Lewis was/is. As already said, being his opponent must have been a nightmare. Absolutely no idea where to turn. Lewis could punch too!

Axle
To be fair, the Lennox Lewis era of punchers (and Boxers generally) is nothing to rave about.
jazz1
To be fair, the Lennox Lewis era of punchers (and Boxers generally) is nothing to rave about. it all went down hill for tyson when he went in prison that guy was a machine in his prime
Jake
it all went down hill for tyson when he went in prison You don't think he was on the slide when he lost his title to Buster Douglas like 2 years before he went to prison?

IDO
tyson was well past his prime when that fight took place !! Yeah i know what you mean, was really meaning that he was still punching properly, no where near the over all form he was in before his little break! shortly after that fight 2002(ish), he seemed to stop launching into his punches as much as he used to though.. change of gym and getting older i assume!.
