The Restorer Posted February 26, 2009 Share Posted February 26, 2009 The guy that got killed was drunk, crashed into the central reservation, spun in his car and ended up sideways on 2 lanes of the motorway. He then got out of the car and safely to the side of the motorway and then realised he had forgotten his phone and went back to get it. Thats when the fatal crash took place. The judge declared he wasn't texting at the time of the incident, and when you consider the fact that the guy crashed into a car that had crashed ON the motorway by a drunk.. wtf Basically he's getting 12 months for using his phone while driving.
