I took the car to a garage because they said they would sort it (warranty) then they ring me back 3 days later saying whats wrong with the car isnt covered under warranty and they wont pay and wont even pay for the tow from the garage i had it at to theres???? only reason i got it towed was because they said they'd sort it so thought it would save my money and i even said what the problem was before they got it

And if it is under warranty have you checked the small print on the (worthless) warranty to check that the issues you are trying to claim for are covered?

Usually if it's something that can wear out (i.e. everything) then it's not covered.

Tell me about it, whats isnt wear & tear?

Warranties tend to only cover engine and gearbox. Another case of being bum-slammed I'm afraid. You can chase and whine at them as much as you like but they'll keep pointing to the bit of quite small and indecipherable print that you never looked at that basically says “tough tits, you're shafted”. Save yourself time, heartache and money by biting the bullet, taking it somewhere else and paying to have it done properly. Even if they agreed to do the work, would you trust them to do it properly after they sold you a duffer in the first place?

Whats wrong with it?

Well garage next to me at work said water pump, took it up to nitro performance and they said its rad, had new rad in it then got told the leak was still there so now i need water pump, already paid for new rad and new it wouldnt be just that think they conned me at nitro garage, so rang place where i bought car, bring it up we'll sort it they said, i get it towed up to them thinking at least it will be sorted now for free. told them its water pump, they come back 3 days later, its water pump thats not covered under warranty argh!! think i had unessecery rad in and now got £205 for new water pump which i should have trusted the garage next to me and had that in at start and saved all this money and trouble cos looks like it wasnt rad after all :( just a week of hell so far

the garage said they couldnt check the pressure or water pump till they got a new rad in, think they just proper bullshitted me

Yes but you said that the water was leaking as you were filling it up. So it's not as though the internals in the pump would have gone and you wouldn't be able to test. When the seals on my water pump went, I could see the water leaking form the side of the pump. I didn't need a test to tell me what the problem was.

If the car is at the place you bought it from and they have capable mechanics, try to get them to quote you a good price bearing in mind you just bought it from them.

Then let the cheque bounce!!!! (joking obviously;))

My local motor factor. Blueprint item, exactly the same. They're not even £205 from Toyota though.

EDIT- Ah that makes more sense, I thought it was just supplied.
