Hey,

My NA is still limited but is topping at about 120mph. I know it should be 112mph. So is my speedo out? If so is this something that can be easily sorted.

Will be purchasing a thor unit soon to delimit but just curious as to why my speedo would be out. Could it be somthing to do with the larger wheels?

No speedo ever created is accurate at those speeds. 120 sounds about right for the limiter. Speedo's are designed to be accurate at 30, once you hit 100 they are usually around 10% out.

Thought i better edit before the pedanticus-maximus come out. Speedo's on conventional cars are not made to be accurate, police cars etc are far more accurate.

speedos will always read over and should never read under as the VOSA chaps won't pass an import it if it is 1mph under at set levels. (eg doing 71mph reading 70mph)

p.s. i assume that you found this out on a private road (or rolling road) ?!

An N/A you say? 120mph?

You'll probably find your car isn't limited and your speedo is perfectly accurate.

looking through the forum, most members are saying it should do 140mph at least. Its definatley limited, you can hear it "flatline" at around 120 (on my speedo!) just before the KA over takes
