Alex Posted February 24, 2009 Share Posted February 24, 2009 (edited) You have an NA, it uses a distributer not coil on plug (coil pack) ignition. Dizzies can need cleaning and checking inside - it's the black circular unit on the front left of the engine. If you are not comfortable woth this sort of maintenance take it to a trained mechanic, dizzies on all engines are basically the same. You would be best to try new sparkplugs and a cleaned/refreshed dizzy, then if this doesn't clear things up you'll have eliminated some relatively cheap fixes. You can see which sparkplugs you should use in the FAQ - You're looking for grade 5 plugs AFAIK.
