JustGav
Bit of a long shot, but a mate of mine has managed to snap his crank on his vauxhall van, diesel jobbie 2.0 DTI. Anybody know a good place to get a 2nd hand engine from? Thanks

SUPRALOOPY
Bloody hell same place too. Was it oil pump fail? As the one I've just done the turbo pooped itself just months before. He said it made no noise when it seized I said how loud was the radio then..LOL
Steve
Will dig it out tomorrow and send it over, cheers for that How did he manage that? I know many moons ago i managed to trash an old Astra engine (Isuzu engine, not the ecotec), i accidentally went from 4th gear to 2nd gear doing around 75 ish. It slipped out one of the shims under the camshafts, which then *uggered all the pistons.....the boss wasnt to happy. Still managed to drive it home though
SUPRALOOPY
Well you can go back as far as 2000. X20 dtl (low blow) engines are the same as y20 dth (high blow) block and head you just need to swap EVERYTHING over. what year is it ?? intercooler or not??
