As title says really!!... alloy dust caps have siezed on!.. Have managed to get one off with a pair of pliers and spanner but others are totally stuck solid!!!

Daren't force them for fear of damaging valve...any bright ideas?

I don't have a dremel so thats not an option :(.... unless anyone is local that has one? i could pop to you northants area

Drive to (or take wheel) a tyre centre and ask them nicely to take the tyre off (which means cutting the valve off) and put new valves on and refit tyre... you'll have to make do with plastic dust caps but it'll cure your problem in future :)

dont want to spend any money if i can help it but may come to that :D

Pour hot water over them, they should expand.

good idea gonna give it a go why didnt i think of that:eyebrows:

take it to the cheapest tyre depot you can find. undo them yourself with pliers.if the valve snaps off you are in the right place to get it sorted. If they are volk wheel valves etc like mine it will pay you to get a set prior to doing the above .
