Guest FOD
Hi all, new to the forum obviously, and looking into getting a Supra, although probably not until the summer. Currently drive a Honda Prelude, and I'm ready for the step up. On a side note, how do you guys find the insurance? I'm 24 and have 4 years NCB no crashes or owt. All the places I've asked so far have said they can't give me a quote. But I'm not giving up that easily. Always wanted a Supra..such a beautiful car. Guest FOD
Not that many admittedly, Direct Line, Churchill and everything on Confused. Most of those were 2K upwards.

RobSheffield
Specialist companies will be better. Confused.com and comparethemarket etc tend to be for average people with average cars. The Supra isnt THAT special, but in insurance terms it is. Try Sky and a few of the others.

danhicks22
I'm 24 with 2 years ncb and Bell (part of Admiral group but specialising in young drivers) have been good price-wise for me, although they don't like too many mods and I don't think they like performance mods either. Also had a good price from Greenlight although I don't know what they're like as a company. I found that Sky/A-Plan/Adrian Flux (which are usually recommended) weren't great because they don't like insuring under 25s on powerful cars. Welcome to the club You won't regret getting a Supra - best thing I ever bought
Pixelfill
You'll also find that the quotes will vary wildly from the cheaper UK Spec, through the J-Spec TT, to finally the J-Spec NA (!) as the most expensive. A few insurers won't touch J-Specs, and a few will frown on modifications. Try Admiral, as a company I know will cover Modified J-specs, and once you've joined up give the club insurer a try Mike
