I bought 3 of the bolts for the manifold where the 1st cat goes because my decatt pipe was gassing and I couldnt do them up anymore.

 

I've removed 2, but the lower one is now rounded off at the tip and on the nut and I cant turn it.

 

I've had a look at taking the manifold bit off, and removed the bracket and the air sensor but the 3 (are there 3) nuts I can see I cant get to because the decatt pipe is still on.

 

anyone got any good ideas? I've been at it hours and I'm totally stuck

I don't follow, the front of the 1st decat fit's onto the turbo elbow with 3 studs and nuts.

 

If you're having a problem here you can remove the turbo elbow which isn't difficult, removing the turbo heatshield will give you access to the nuts/bolts (I can't remember if they're all nuts as it's been a while since I removed mine).
