hodge
I know the PAS resevior has 2 different size pipes. the larger pipe of the 2 has a 16mm o/d. But it reduces to 10mm when it enters the pump. The smaller pipe of the 2 I would assume would just be a -6an fitting. I have to relocate the resevoir due to a large aftermarket intake. Cheers in advance guys.
Chris Wilson
Why weld anything on? Just use push on hoses, but longer, as standard. There's a gauze filter in the bottom of the reservoir and I *THINK* it's nylon. Welding may reduce it to a molten mess.
Terminator
I had to move mine to make way for a bigger plenum. I just used the stock hose sizes, just a bit longer, as Chris said. Adding -AN fittings to the PAS system just adds unnecessary weight.IMHO
Chris Wilson
And, if you put Aeroquip threaded fittings at the reservoir end, what about the other ends of the pipes? Too needlessly complex!
JamieP
How about this PHR Chrome plated one?

hodge
The problem is really the fitting on the power steering pump. The part the hose fits onto is just too long and hits the plenum. So it I was gona shorten it anyway I thought I might as well go for a threaded fitting. I didnt realise about the gauze in the bottom of the tank Chris cheers for that. That tank does look mighty fine jamie but im abit reluctant to fork out 180 quid for one when I can weld the fittings on and polish it myself.
