supraGZaerotop
Nice matts!! But i was under the impression you could still buy Supra matts from Toyota delearships?? you can but they are not the pure sports mats, they are different to these and cost around £70 and are half the quality compared to pure sports. the mats you speak of have supra on them but the pure sports mats were only available in the showrooms back in the day for a certain time as an extra if what ive looked in to is correct, making them very rare. if anyone is after mats for the supra id buy now as there are only a handful left in the uk and another 95 sets i think stored in toyota japan. SimonT
So are you saying that there are only a handful left of the pure sports ones or the ones you can still get from a dealership??
SteveR
Don't bother. You'd get bored with pressing the switch very quickly. I rank these along with headlight washers, and ashtrays for motorcycles. (wing mirror retract button) Actually I find it very useful - my Supra won't fit through the garage door unless the mirrors are in. On my old Supe I had to get out of the car each time I wanted to take the car out/put it back in, which was annoying. Also when you park up it's an extra couple of inches to piece of mind that reduce the chance of padestrians/passing cars banging into them. So My car has the optional Carbon steering wheel, and it's ace!
supraGZaerotop
So are you saying that there are only a handful left of the pure sports ones or the ones you can still get from a dealership?? no, what i meant was there are a handful of the other supra mats left in this country and another 95 or so sets left in japan when i spoke to the guy in toyota, and they are all black, beige ones sold out years ago from what toyota said. you cannot buy the pure sports mats new from toyota anymore. only the basic supra mats which are plain compared to pure sports. only way you can get pure sports mats now is if you lucky enough to buy a supra with them already in there, or somehow manage to find a pair as i did, which is very hard as they are like hens teeth. I have a different take on it, the mirrors sticking out keep cars and pedestrians further away from the bodywork...I'd rather a mirror gets whacked than the bodywork. :dI cant get my Supra in my garage full stop, unless I climb out through the boot. juanchan
The one thing I wish I had, is retractable wing mirrors, none of the 5 Supra's I have owned have had them!! I thought all Supes had retractable mirrors? Mine are heated but you can retract them yourself. Not for the lazy-hearted as you have to walk round the car I'd love to see one with the roof rack fitted... If you see one for sale, shotgun... rare parts to see on a supra - stock exhaust Love my stock exhaust A completely unmodified Supra is very rare. How about an unmodified UK-spec Supra? Give it a few months and the only thing to be non-stock on my car will be the radio, as I've got some stock wheels to go on her.

SimonT
Just a question but are these factory or aftermarket Recaro's??
Scott
Just a question but are these factory or aftermarket Recaro's?? No, those are aftermarket. The stock ones are similar but full leather and don't have "Recaro" written on them.
SimonT
I thought that was the case but wasnt too sure thanks!! Still nice and comfy though
Scott
I thought that was the case but wasnt too sure thanks!! Still nice and comfy though Exactly the same seats buddy, just not OEM. I have the OEM recaro's (non-leather) and i'm trading them out for leather recaro's. I don't care about the OEM rarity, as long as the seats are nice and comfortable i'm happy lol.
