supra_si
I need new tyres to pas my mot next month, i have 2 options 2 x 235/40 r18 falken 452 or vredestein sessanta falkens 2 for 202 or vredes for 256 the pair what do you think??
Reaver
haven't tried the vred's but i've got 452's on mine and am quite happy with them. Havent pushed the car yet with them on, crap weather and all, but they already seem to be gripping well compared to the aging proxies on my stock wheels. Thorin
Falken 452's are an excellent tyre, can't comment on the Vred's.
dibbleyuk
I didnt like the falkens in the wet they where shocking! Just gone for some Avon ZZ3's will let you know how i get on.
Anees
I've had both on the Aristo and the Falkens are very good tyres, but personally I think the Vrdesteins are better. They are superb in the wet and I have had very little wheel spin from them at BPU level.
Ian Ian
Vedersteins sassantas all the way ! ive got them on my BPU supra and cant fault them in the wet or dry Cheers -Ian-
supra_si
i was thinking falkens on the front and perhaps vredies sessantas on the back but im not sure whether to mix and match
DAT Inter
I didnt like the falkens in the wet they where shocking! Just gone for some Avon ZZ3's will let you know how i get on. Congratulations. U downgraded and paid more. Look at the difference between those two tyres. The Faulken is a much more pliable compound, reacting to the heat created better. They also have a very good rain tread design. Supras + Wet = Fail. Unless u want to go sideways. Avons + Supras + Wet = Mega Fail. However, saying that. A nice combo is avons up front, faulkens to the rear.

Did you not read what i wrote. ive tryed the Falkens and didnt like them, In my opinion they where terrible, I read some good reviews on the ZZ3's so giving them a try if they turn out to be bad i will have some fun with them and try another type! My car doesnt get used in the wet anymore so i have nothing to worry about...
Tricky-Ricky
I have run Falkens both 451 and 452 on both my old Nissan S14 with 350BHP and on my single Supra, and have never had a hairy moment in the wet of dry, unless i have done it deliberately, all i can say is that if your Supra doesn't handle well with Falkens then get your alignment sorted;)
supra_si
yeh i need to get my allignment sorted out after i have got them all on as they are wearing on the inner edge on my toyo t1r's
edge
I think you may find them less grippy than the T1r's tbh. I have t1r's on my gt4 and they are fantastic in all weathers. Even in the snow and ice i was very impressed. Although 4wd is an advantage to grip i didnt think such grip was possible so must be the tyres. Cant wait for summer then R888's all round
supra_si
yeh my toyos are grippy but bloody expensive to replace, they would have lasted longer if the alighnment was spot on but didnt notice til it was too late
dani_r
I can recommend Falkens, they're a good tyre, good grip. Good price too!
