SupraTRD83
advice needed im having trouble with my new denon dns 3500 players, when i play certain songs with vocals they seem to be a bit echo'y? if that makes sense, they just dont sound crisp or clear at all, the bass seems all out and everything. im sure ive wired it up properly just cant see why it would echo like it does, its only slightly echo but its enough to notice and be annoying,any1 else have trouble with these or there CDJ's Dean

SupraTRD83
bit rate of the file you are playing? you should only use 320rips where possible Argh!! thought it was the tune as it did it on both. what bit rate you go for and do you use mp3 or audio? heard audio is better quality but surely shoulnt matter too much to the human ear Dean

SupraTRD83
mp3 at 320k is what i usually use, depends what codec its ripped in, apples lossless is great but the files are quite large I only put around 2 songs on 1 CD so doesnt matter about size, will have to play tonight and get them sorted properly, never noticed the poor quality on old decks

Adzys straight6
1210's all the way. I do have a set of cdj1000's but the sound is almost clinical, no depth even on a good system, those denons arent bad tho, good stuff.

Scoboblio
You lot must be mad as much as I love my 1210's for the sentimental value, soundwise they were no match for the CDJ1000s.
Adzys straight6
dont get me wrong the cdj1000s are wicked in every sence, but with digital you lose some the depth and detail of the original sound/tune/sound, where as with vinyl its all there

Al Massey
I agree with my 1210's its more sentiment but when mixing with vinyls it feels and sounds as if you were they when they made it. It feels nostalgic lol
Jezz
Do they have master tempo on the Denons and if so is it on? Master tempo even on the pioneers causes a slight 'warble' in the sound due to the processing.
