roboldham
Hi Folks I have a nice Sony Xblack LCD monitor in my studio that I am piping DVI into from my main studio PC. I'd also like to put a spare PS2 I have into it through the aditional VGA input that the monitor comes with. Does anyone know / have experience of a good PS2 to VGA adapter box / cable / whatever that can do the trick? Ta R
Pete
I got one from here - Lik Sang , but it's not very good. The VGA really shows up the limitations on the graphics and the screen isn't full. Not only that but the VGA is passed through from the PC to the monitor and this makes your normal PC viewing blurry as the signal degrades. roboldham
Okay thanks for the info - are you running a PS2 through it? What is the native resolution of PS2 output - any idea? R
Pete
Yes the PS2 went through it. In theory it's pretty good having SVHS and composite straight to the monitor, but in the end I gave up and used the big tv downstairs. PS2 res is a humble 320x200 apparently.
