Chris Wilson
Sorry to hear it, at least you and the vet tried to fix him up. We have had a torrid New Year start. Our 20 odd year old eagle owl died, she had cataracts and didn't fly anymore, but had a sedentary life pottering around a huge aviary. Found her dead in the snow... Then 2 Guinea fowl died, probably the cold coupled with old age. Then Jane, my wife, heard her step father had keeled over and dropped suddenly dead. Probably the most active thing he'd done for some time, mind you... Finally one of the wallabies died, not sure why, he wasn't that old, and showed no ill health. Was going to pay for a PM, but changed my mind. These things happen,
Max Headroom
I know what your feeling, you Paddy reminded me of Max my dog who had to be put to sleep last year. I still miss her.

benkei
Always gutting when a pet dies. Condolences mate. It was my grandad's funeral yesterday, I got to help carry to coffin which was an honour. Was a funny, lively chap and I still don't think it's hit me yet. I didn't want to start a thread about it though. Keep your chin up dude
