:(

One of my Whippet puppies, Paddy, died this morning at the vets.

He broke one of his front legs while running around in the park with my other Whippet, Lupo.

They operated on his leg this morning, and he died as a result of the anesthetic.

To say i'm gutted is an understatement :(

He was such a cheeky little charchter, and will be sorely missed in this household. He was only 7 months old.

RIP little man.

He was such a clever little dog too. He tought himself to open doors the little bugger :)

You couldn't leave him in the house on his own either, as he'd look around the tables for the most expensive or fragile things he could get his mouth round, then run off and hide with it somewhere :)

He ate a remote control helicopter I was given for christmas. :D

They sleep in the kitchen, and you could guarantee that when you went down on a morning, the oven gloves, dish cloths etc would be on his bed. :)

really sorry for you dude, its never easy losing a pet and as you can tell by all the comments on this, its something most people can relate to [Me included]

Hang in there and just remember the good times, Im sure he knew how much of a caring owner you was and if he was in pain at least he isnt suffering.
