dibbleyuk
Mine is made of a small amount of MDF and acostic carpet pulled tight and was shaped then covered with a resin to make it go hard then covered in carpet. The subs are 10" and they have boxs of the right dimenssions under all the carpet the boxs dont have to be square they can be pretty much any shape as long as are of the right volume. The bottles have velcro where they are held up and are also secured at the bottom they push into the back of the car into the build they dont move! They could be more secure but i havnt had any problems. Edited February 18, 2009 by dibbleyuk (see edit history)

Guest Garfy
1" sheet of MDF weighs around 40kg, How much have you used? 1.5 sheets? With the speakers amps and nos bottle i bet there is around 80kg+ in that boot. thats exactly why my boot install is tiny, it uses two 6" subs, in a small box built with 12mm MDF to keep the weight down, and the sound is fantastic, I have listened to many set ups, and I prefer the sound from mine, because it uses 6" subs the response is so punchy and fast, its great
