tonyhawk
It's a bit of a pain, but shouldn't take more than about 1.5 hours or so. It might be worth checking the idle valve at the back of the plenum chamber? I'm grasping at straws a bit there though... I might be a blocked or split vacuum pipe, which might explain the poor pickup?
alaing
Yeh ive taken the idle valve out and cleaned it up, no luck there . Ill have to take the injectors out to clean and test them see if that helps. really appreciate your time and input tony.
hadyn
Its tottally standard. Its got a set of brand new NGK BKR6EIX s in it. Do you think i should try a smaller gap on them? Set the gaps to the settings given in the FAQ section of this forum mate, you should have no problems then.
alaing
its says not to gap them. It should be 1.1 ill check them.
tonyhawk
Happy to help mate. It's worth checking the gaps, but I'd be surprised if they affected it at tickover? If you want to try different injectors, give me a shout.
