michael
For anyone using NTL broadband the following link will hurry-up the promised speed upgrade. http://www.ntlworld.com/data-feeds/editorial/microsites/tierMigration/ This has been passed onto me by someone else, I'm not with NTL so I can't test it but he said: "I've just done mine and, after filling in my details, my modem reebooted to the new sooooper speed!" Let me know how you get on
Grazer
Had been running at 942.5Kbps Now at 1198.6Kbps Not a huge difference but cheers anyway Thinking of moving anyway, as £25/month seems too steep for broadband now. Hmm - may be back to BT

MONKEYmark
aint there limits on how much you can download? if you on a faster speed you can down load loads faster and hit your daily limit. "Normal use" of the service is defined as up to 1 gigabyte downstream of data transfer daily (which equates to approximately 200 music tracks, 650 short videos, 10,000 pictures or around 100 large software programmes downloaded per day). i will stay as i am for now,

Grazer
1mb for £14 isn't too bad with NTL Is that the price for the first year? I paid that for a year then it went up to £25. I'm thinking of phoning and threatening to move to see if they offer me the discount again!

SkyJawa
My wireless works fine, though I'm using cable modem. And with my useage - which is a fair bit, though not as much as others, I don't get anywhere near 1Gb a day.
