Fitz
Hey Guys and Gals, This is kind of an alteration from my previous thread about Knowlegde Of The MKIV Supra and thought (as I was galavanting through my local Asda), which automotive magazines do people on here buy? As you may or may not be aware, there are a large variety of magazines to look at and choose from. I originally used to purchase 'Redline' as there were a few tasteful modified cars in their issues. However, I haven't bought an issue in a while. So I'm just wondering (as the title says) "Which Magazines Do You Buy?" Cliff
michael
I subscribe to Auto Express and EVO, I buy others on a sporadic basis if there is something of interest in them and I fill in any gaps with online stuff.
Thorin
None. In fact I haven't bought a car magazine in a long time, the ones I tend to pick up and have a scout through at the moment are practical performance car and the kit car ones

Matt H
I rarely buy magazines now. Everything you need seems be available on line in some place. Plus i think due to the competition from free online sources, magazines (especially, car and game ones) are over priced.
bigbloodyturbo
Practical performance car, very good read and lots of technical content. Their project cars are very cool also, a saab turbo engined mk2 escort and a 27 litre rover sd1 for example. They also do running articles on things like how to convert your car to megasquirt and how to understand and tune suspension which is pretty interesting even if you have no intention of doing it yourself. The engine coming through the dash. The 27 litre SD1, not Tescos. I don't buy any car magazines, but am looking at buying What Cat, though the second hand index at the back of it is dire. No 0-60 times or price guides or anything.
