erol_h
I got into my sup this morning and i see a note under my wiper. I grab the note which says im sorry to inform you that last night i accidently reversed into your front bumper which left a minor crack in your number plate and apologised and also left his number. I quickly ran to the front of the car looked at the number plate and it had a minor hair line crack which was already there and had a sigh of relief. Its nice to see that he was decent enough to leave a note and offerd to repair plate which most wouldnt of even botherd to.

I could ring him and say bumping into me has damaged my engine and turbo and it needs a new engine , single turbo and the car could do with a new respray:d

AlexM
I'd give him/her a ring and say thanks for the note but you didn't actually cause any damage and don't worry about it. Put their mind at rest.
AndrewOW
After all these hit and runs recently, this is a reassuring story. I hope you're just going to phone him and let him off? Just this once, of course!
Aero-M
Not many people like him about unfortunatley. I caught someone months ago hit a car and get out and walk off, I confronted him and left his details for the other car. Just wish someone like me or him were around when my roof got dented in december

Aero-M
how did they manage to dent your roof that couldnt of been by accident. It was no accident, just some scumbag probably . I put a rant thread up about it. I parked over the other side of the carpark as far from the entrance as possible. Took up two spaces so i didn't get any dented doors, came back to, two dents behind the aero panel.

I think that would be good . Instead of waiting for a big bill to drop onto his doormat, he can get closure.
