Aero-M
After my exhaust through bumper thread, I have given myself a slap for being daft. I will go for a exhaust in the normal position. What i thought was a double decat, then straight through to a backbox. What I don't want to do is make it sound S**t, like a noisy saxo with a peco backbox. Would this sound nice or to much? Gaz6002
N/As are notoriously loud with decat and after market exhaust mate. I'd at least ask a member who's done it to take you out in theirs to see what you think. I remember being followed by an N/A with the same mods whilst in my TT and I couldn't hear my exhaust, but could feel the vibrations of his car through my seat. In the end I just put my foot down and left him

Maybe another silencer in the middle?, I want the decats for the extra response.

Al Massey
If you want i can take you for a spin in mine as im in suffolk too. I've got a autobahn manifold with decat, to a 2.5" decat and a 3" rear pipe with a silencer( whicj i plan to get rid of) to a HKS backbox. I Like the sound and rumble but can be quiet when needs be
Animal
Dude, N/A's are UNBEARABLY loud without some form of baffling in the exhaust. I've got one of Nic's manifolds, full decat and an RS*R GTII exhaust. I ran if for one day without the plug in the backbox and I had to open the widows at 60mph as it felt like the noise was pressurising the cabin! If you have a listen to the sound file on the post below, that was recorded with my phone on my lap, window open, on a run in 1st gear with the baffle IN. And it's still loud. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showpost.php?p=1583220&postcount=

It's just not possible to drive without the baffle. I've had loud bikes and whatnot for donkeys years but that was the first time I've ever been afraid to touch the throttle for fear of the noise, lol. With the baffle in, it does sound good, a proper good burble at lowish revs. It can be a bit loud late at night, but I've got an Apexi exhaust valve to fit that should make it a bit better. This thread has a video of mine on the dyno (with baffle in). http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=141669&highlight=miami+dyno
