Been building the new website for a while, and although I'm not personally building it, it takes ages to get all the content together, pictures, videos etc. However, we seem to have broken the back of it now :)

Here's where we're up to http://www.afrtuning.co.uk. Feel free to let me have your constructive comments ;)

I'm getting together all the modifications data by model at the moment, and a few more clips of us on the dyno. We now have a 'cam' in the dynocell too, so hopefully we'll be streaming that soon

I really should be spending this evening on it too, but I'm having a beer or three and watching a movie instead :D

LOADS to do still mind as we work on all Jap motors :( Plus we're starting the RS\Cosworth site soon seeing as we have a Cosworth specialist now.

Dude's got some more vids of his old car in action too, so we'll get them added at some point. Also, Dude may be back in a single Supra sooner than we thought :sly:

Nice site! Very quick and fairly easy to navigate.

2 things.

1) PLEASE don't just leave the site as it is. I've seen so many traders build sites and then update them next to never, meaning the whole lot is out of date.

2) On the homepage, the text in bold under your pic says "Call us today to book your Japanese Performance car"... kinda sounds like you hire them out :)

Who's the ugly bloke on the homepage :p

Sacked him ages ago :D

Keep the comments coming guys, this site WILL be finished and not left half done, as it's an external company doing the site.

Also, I don't really want to get into parts sales either as it allows us to be completely objective in our advice, but we will see.

Oh yeah I should also explain, I seem to have acquired a lot of staff ;)

I used to rent space from Austec Racing, they were impressed with what had been going on so we have put the two companies together. Means I have inherited a LOT of experience and engineering equipment. I now help run Austec too.

So this coupled with Dude's arrival next month and I'm happy :)

It does also mean we have David Vizard on retention as a technical consultant, but that's more for Austec's line of work than mine :) This is the sort of stuff David Vizard writes http://www.allbookstores.com/author/David_Vizard.html, but he's very knowledgable.

Good upgrade - each part seems very well explained, long list of staff, and dyno cam should be interesting too.

I'd perhaps change the text on the "window label" (not sure what they're really called) from this:

"Japanese Performance and Beyond¦Repair Servicing Maintenance Modifications¦AFR Tuning Crawl - Windows Internet Explorer"

to

"AFR Tuning ¦ Japanese Performance and Beyond¦Repair Servicing Maintenance Modifications¦ Crawl - Windows Internet Explorer"

or something along those lines (so the AFR tuning bit is always visible). I also preferred the old logo with the grey background (i.e. like your avatar).

I look forward to regular updates and project pages. :)
