Massive Thanks to Lee P

Just wanted to put up in writing my massive thanks to Lee P and SRD for getting my car back on the road. Lee was very helpfull, very knowledgable and most of all very good at what he does.

He took my car in off the back of a low loader at short notice, diagnosed the problem and fixed a huge amount of other issues (left by the work of a certain idot ex trader on here). My engine turned out to be a massive mess, but Lee fixed and replaced everything and the car now runs like a dream, I can't stop driving her around now, I am in love all over again (car not lee lol).

Can highly recommend his services to all members, very good service, very polite and friendly and well priced as well.

Thank you Lee and I will be coming to you for all future work, which as you know is some big plans ;)

A very happy and content James.

Yeah just wish he had been around a few years back when I did not know any better and let some twat in Basingstoke ruin my engine, leave half the parts and bolts off and use the magic finger spanner to "torque" my bolts up, ohh not forgetting the "ohh the front crank seal does not seem to fit, I know lets hammer it in place crooked" method..!!

Hey mate, glad the car is better.

Are you talking about Slowdog/MaxGT?

Yes I am lol, here is a few examples of things Lee found:

Lots of missing bolts (all the ones that are harder to get to)

Lots of bolts done up finger tight

Missing washers all over the places

Cam Covers taken off and not sealed again after

Cam Cover Bolts - Half way over torqued, some missing, some finger tight

Cam Belt Tensioner Spacing Washer missing - This caused the belt to slip back slowly and then eventually damaged the crank sensor causing the car to fail and not start again.

Front Crank Shaft Seal - Fitted badly, clearly he could not get it to fit so smashed it in at an angle with a hammer an chisel so damaged the seal as well.

Oil leaks everywhere due to old gaskets being used and damaged seals.

Sure there was more but those are the main things.

Interesting. He's driving an Evo 6 now since being banished from the world of the Supra. He's just repairing it now after almost writing it off.

I've heard horror stories before, including steering racks being secured with only one bolt! How did he ever go into business?!

With the amount of people he ripped off I am suprised he is even still walking let alone driving..!!

Me too! Especially since he made it his business to threaten certain people when he didn't get what he wanted. Better left forgotten IMO. He was not the best trader we've ever had.

No he was not lol, very glad Lee is around now. I trust him and his word. Hopefully if things go according to plan I will go single this year, and Lee will be doing all the work :)

I've got to say, although I've not approached him yet I'm leaning the same way for the work I need doing.
