Just giving my expert advice as its happened to me aswell but i fixed mine . Yep, already done that twice to no effect. Except the first time when it started to unlock after sticking a hairdryer in the door for hours. I wasn't having a go, I'm just keen to get "closure" (eh? eh? closure? door locks) as its happened to so many people and some are saying it drys out and works fine and others aren't. Sandy-m2
This has just started happening to me. grrrrr. the lock itself is really stiff to turn, could that be a factor?
Dash Rendar
It could be a factor, because my passenger side lock was also very stiff and my wife was struggling to open it from the outside. I took the door card off and lubed it up, and now it opens okay, but the central locking problem remains.
