bigbloodyturbo
I checked the weather forecast yesterday and there was no mention of snow, infact it stated we were to warm up towards the weekend (slightly) and were to expect rain or flooding casued my melting snow. I wake up this morning and not only is my supra under 6inches of snow, its still falling hard and because there weas no forecast for snow the roads were never even treated lastnite so there's a good few inches of compacted snow on there aswell. SteveR
I watched my local news weather forecast the other week which made me laugh "Sunny and dry with sleet and snow"
johnny g
Went really cold over my way during the night - and a water main burst on the M53, then it froze over, causing the motorway to close. Lovely. I had a tremendous 2.5 hour drive to work because of that.

Dozymare
A BBC report on Monday "Heavy rain and floods in Gloucetsershire, Wocestershire East & West Sussex. Flooding in Guildford and Bristol. The whole country is disrupted..." wtf? I've heard of south east centric but that doesn't even cover up to the Watford gap!
GLENN STONEHAM
They are useless considering all the satelite & computer technology thats used nowadays. Also look at the number of forcasters costing a fortune on the morning telly. BBc breakfast has Carol in the blue peter garden(be alright if she were topless,we wouldnt care what she said) then a few minutes later theres somone else in the studio pretending to know what theyre talking about , then a few more minutes passes & theres a regional forcast from another nobody along with local news.
