Just think though the mazda is so much nicer to look at, so you need to go slower so everyone see's you Plus you got indicators with this one... maybe thats what is slowing it down? It's got power but it's all higher up. Not nippy at all and I fecking hate the gear box. I actually had them look at it cause it is that notchy 1st to 2nd, they told me it just needs to loosen up! I did think maybe it was just me being used to the BW, but P is not impressed with the gear box either. Spec, comfort and size wise it is fab.
