I found some that are exactly the 6500k as my HIDs. I found em here in Denmark, so its probably not much use to you, but at least I can tell you that it is possible.

If the shop promised you they should be 6500k and they aren't they should take their product back.

 

Take a look at the pic below, but bear in mind that the sidelights look a bit more blue than real life.

Is the yellow colour of the sidelights due to degradation of the plastic

 

Yes, it can be sorted easily if you have the time, there's a fair few threads on here about it, and many have done it (Myself included in the past)
