michael
But at least there is enough left to buy a £2,000,000 horse. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/kent/7880889.stm I don't see the appeal, I like the idea of putting something up there but where is the art? It's a horse, a giant horse, it's just a scaled up Barbie accessory, a huge version of a Britains Farm toy... give it some giant metal wings and then you can say it's comparible to the Angel of the North. A big horse... how amazing Note: I also dislike portraits and pictures of horses.
Thorin
Waste of money. Note: I also dislike portraits and pictures of horses. What about photos of Donkeys or Zebra?
michael
What about photos of Donkeys or Zebra? I'm not lucky enough to have seen these beasts so am unable to make an informed comment. Apologies.
grahamc
Waste of money. What about photos of Donkeys or Zebra? Flying donkeys and Stallions should be ok.... But yes, complete waste of money!!
Animal
Complete waste of monet [spelling mistake left in for irony]. Just think of the many useful things that could be put towards. I have a dim view of 'art'. Most of it is pretentious nonsense that just seems pointless. One of Lucy's mates is an artist and gave her an original piece as a housewarming present. To me it's just a swirly maroon blob.
AlexM
Complete and utter waste of money, it's not even original! Plenty of smaller horses in Kent already, and I bet they look much better too.
RedM
I think a 100' tall robot would be much better.
