Swampy442
Would a dead 1JZ be any good to you? More or less the same engine, just with a shorter throw crank
dan4
possibly yeah was hoping i could do someone a favour by taking it off their hands, run sand through it for all i care i just want to look at bits in detail rather than having to build it up again TF? just the crank different? AlexM
Couldn't you dismantle a 2JZ-GE instead? Someone is bound to have one lying in their shed.
StuartW
Couldn't you dismantle a 2JZ-GE instead? Someone is bound to have one lying in their shed. i just threw 2 N/A's away! couldnt sell em for monkey dust! The last one i bought kept blowing crank seals as it had 2 cracked piston crowns from too much poorly set up NOS and was breathing heavilly.
