w41k3r Posted February 7, 2009 Share Posted February 7, 2009 Hi all thought i`d share this with you, i know stock airbox seems to be the best idea for intake from everyones opinion but i never had one so i thought i`d build my own its made from 3 inch pipework andapexi filter, it follows the same route as intercooler pipes. supraspeed Posted February 7, 2009 Share Posted February 7, 2009 just a quick question about air filters.... a few people i know just take the filter off the end of a custom pipe or aftermarket one and say no muck/dirt can get inside as theres no direct contact with the outside. now i think this is complete bollox as there must be particles it can suck in and ruin the engine. does anyone run nowdays without a filter?
