AndrewOW
As the title really. I'm after a couple of rear OEM stock shock absorbers, as I have a leaky one (and that's what's been causing the knocking, incidentally). If anyone has any in very good condition, then I'd be interested in having those, at a reasonable cost. I have a 1993 J-Spec TT, but I think they were relatively standard on them anyway. I can't quite afford a CW set up just yet, and I just want rid of the knocking, as it's driving me insane!!
Chris Wilson
I could sell you two re valved Bilsteins that will still be fine with your springs, and also be totally correct should you want to fit the whole kit later. Re valved ones would be 148 each, stock German made Bilsteins are 98 each. I also should have some excellent used stock dampers, but they'd have no warranty and it's a lot of work to fit parts that are well past their best. Guest Budz86
Just out of interest Chris, how much is a full suspension set up from you as I'm thinking of getting one later this year. You can drop me a PM if you prefer? Sorry for the hijack Andrew!
Chris Wilson
£1280 fitted with the geo reset, assuming none of the adjusters are totally seized, which is unusual but has happened a couple of times. Thanks.

Guest Garfy
if you do find some and you need a hand fitting them, give me a shout Andrew, I'll be happy to help, I've had mine off a few times so its no problem.

Cheers Garath. I'm trying to decide whether to wait until I have funds for a full CW set up, or get his revalved shocks as a stop gap (while being part of his set up anyway). Guest Garfy
keep your eye on ebay, I know you find mine to hard, but thats where I got the TRD Billies and springs from, I think they cost me something like £150 for the whole set, been on there for a year now, with no problems. Personally, I wouldn't really like to put a pair of brand new shocks on the back, leaving your older ones on the front, I'd much rather find either some used rears, or a full set, thats just my personaly preference though. pezzler
maybe a bit of a budget route, but i bought two brand new KYB rear shocks last weekend and fitted them in about 2 hours. they were £130 for the set and seem to be doing the job very well.
